Being gay in the 30’s and 40’s in a mobbed up family was harder then most could imagine. His father didn’t want a powder puff of a son and forbid him from living the life he really wanted to live. Angel is well aware of Alastors reputation as “the radio demon” and despises the monster for what he had done to Hell. Angel is Charlie’s Primary Spy and gathers intel from the Tyrants, often with Husk, Tom Trench, or Vaggie. He is a master of disguise when it comes to sneaking into the bases of the Tyrants undetected, making himself look like a completely different person and creates a whole new personality when the need arises. He has no qualms about roughing up one of Alastor’s followers to find out useful information, despite Charlie being opposed to the tactics.

Alastor

Angel inadvertently causes Niffty to sob, so he asks if she would like “to play with the kitty”, referring to Husk. Afterwards, Cherri tells Angel he doesn’t have to spend his off hours working on himself, but Angel soon spots Valentino, requesting to leave, only to realize Niffty is not there. Niffty is spotted drunkenly running around the bar, so Angel rushes behind her, only to realize she is running towards Valentino. When Valentino messes with Niffty, this enrages Angel, so he stands up and tells Val to fuck off, openly disrespecting the Overlord in from of the club. Angered by this public embarrassment, he slaps Angel, so Husk angrily growls at Val, but Angel reassures him that it’s fine. Husk congratulates him for standing up for himself, and they decide return to the hotel, with Niffty stealing fur from Valentino for her collection, causing pain for and freaking out Valentino.

He was not swayed nor scared when Charlie was emerging in her full demon form after seeing how he treated Angel. The two actually do agree with Vox’s nemesis Alastor when he pointed out Vox would be nothing without him and her. Valentino is acquainted with Velvette as a fellow member of the Vees. The two are presumed to have a positive relationship, as Velvette is seen hiding out in Valentino’s company building during the Extermination in the pilot. Despite this, Valentino, very reluctantly, has to respect the terms of said contract.

Character information

Despite the abusive that Angel Dust faces from Valentino, he is unable to leave due to a contract that the two share which bounds Angel Dust to work for Valentino. It is implied by Angel Dust that the only possible (currently unconfirmed) way to break the contract is by having Valentino break it himself, which will result in his freedom from his boss. They were both treated like they didn’t matter, like they were less then. Like because of what they were and had been they were only worth one thing. After a bit of a rocky start to a friendship, Angel started to open up and learn that he could live a life outside of the things that Val made him believe.

Cherri Bomb

• He can also be seen holding Vaggie back from attacking Alastor when the latter starts to sing, showing that, while they don’t always get along, he doesn’t want her doing stuff that could get her hurt.
• Below his eyes are three, small, cerise freckle-like dots which are actually a smaller pair of eyes.
• Despite this, Valentino, very reluctantly, has to respect the terms of said contract.

Angel’s actions caused Sir Pentious to seek revenge on him, heading to the Hazbin Hotel to kill him, but was defeated by Alastor. As revealed in the end credits scene in the ADDICT music video, Angel has a bit of hope that the hotel won’t be as bad as the others make it out to be. Despite this, since he just became acquainted with Charlie, he does not fully trust her yet. This is shown when Charlie tries to approach him as he was reminiscing of his traumatic experiences with Valentino, only for him to play off his shock as irritation and flip her off. Though Vaggie vehemently dismisses Alastor’s suggestion of adding a bar to the hotel, she does not respond toward Husk himself.

Husk/Relationships

Angel also cares about Cherri as shown in the turf war scene when he pushed Cherri to save her from Sir Pentious’s grip. His fur is mostly white which forms into a mop of fluff resembling hair, extending from the front and back of his head with light pink spots across it, alongside a pink heart-shape on the back of his head. His fur also sported a light pink outline of a heart which encircles his chest, in which the lower proportion extends past his waistline and down to his crotch area. His arms also have light pink stripes which additionally, his top set have light pink forearms while his second set have light pink fingers. As Angel Dust was literally flirting with Husk, and fans typically get attached to any form of canon romances. Due to this being in the pilot, many fans were interested to see if Husk would reciprocate Angel’s feelings in the series itself.

Life On Earth

Charlie is implied to be able to see through his persona in the prequel comic and, despite his attitude, she could tell he was unhappy with his life. Though, initially accepting of the conditions he must abide by to stay there, he instead says he… All articles regarding character relationships in Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss. In “The Show Must Go On”, Angel enlists Cherri’s help to fight the Exorcists and they have fun together one last night before the battle. He and Cherri fight side by side against the Exorcists, launching explosives and killing several angels. After having been apart for two weeks since Angel checked into the Hotel, Cherri recruits him to help her fight Sir Pentious, an offer he happily accepts to finally get some “action”.

After this practice given by Carmilla, both Vaggie and Carmilla have gained mutual respect. They talk together at Husk’s bar and Husk refers to Angel as his drinking buddy. During the fight against the Exorcists, Husk and Angel fight side by side, and during the Hotel’s reconstruction, Husk and Angel helped each other put up a sign at the new hotel. Both Husk and Niffty are pictured silhouetted behind Alastor in the overlord line-up in the pilot. According to Faustisse, Alastor considers Husk (along with Niffty and Rosie), to be his only close friends.note 3 It’s unclear whether Husk returns this sentiment. At first, Vaggie is staunchly against the idea of a bar being present at the hotel at all, but soon begrudgingly agrees to it, per Angel Dust’s demand.

• Vaggie also dislikes him for constantly invading her personal space and telling her to smile.
• In the ADDICT music video, it is shown that Travis survived the car crash that occurred in the pilot and seems to be one of Angel’s regular patrons.
• As punishment, the pimp ordered him to offer himself on the street until he earned enough to make up for it.
• He will switch between playful and destructive as he pleases, and his humor tends to be crude and crass, with an emphasis on dirty jokes and innuendos, which he feels is expected of him and actively plays into.
• When Husk angers Alastor by mentioning the fact that the Radio Demon made a deal with an unknown person, he actually shows fear when Alastor threatens him and is careful to never anger him again.

Out of the three songs that Angel Dust sings in, the two songs “ADDICT” (From before the series) and “Poison” (Sang in Episode 4) displayed their relationship. In the first episode “Overture”, Angel suggests new ways to attract customers to the hotel, which elicits hesitance from Charlie. To this, Angel suggests they should film him “going at it” with Alastor for the hotel’s commercial, to which Alastor, on edge, rejects this prospect angel dust relationships fandom fiercely. He screams and looks back at Kano, causing him to grip Dios hair harder.

Angel is convinced that Gremlin Prescott is the cutest thing going and tries to care for him and provide a space for him to live. He still feels guilty that Prescott has had to over hear some of things that he has in the hotel. It’s not known when he and Cherri became friends but they have been best friends for as long as she’s been on this level of hell. While he had other relatives down in hell, he turned to sex work to get by. Valentino took Angel and Dia off a pimp who owed Valentino a steep drug debt.
